The ‘After Barbara’ pieces are a range of Pebble pendants, earrings and rings inspired by the smooth, organic scultptures of Babara Hepworth. Along with inserted shapes and lines to represent the veins and recesses of sea-worn stones, these pebbles have silk threads ‘strung’ into the negative space, reminiscent of the strings Hepworth sometimes used to link voids in her three-dimensional works.
